Laura Muir (GBR), Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (JAM) and Mondo Duplantis (SWE) took part in a pre-event photocall today...Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce – JAM (60m).• Ten-time world champion, most recently winning 100m and 4x100m gold in Doha.• Double Olympic champion over 100m (2008 & 2012).• Fraser-Pryce returns to Glasgow having previously competed in the city six years ago at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, winning 4x100m gold for Jamaica..Laura Muir – GBR (1000m – WR attempt).• Five-time European champion and double world indoor medallist.• Muir finished 5th at last year’s World Championships in 3:55.76, her second quickest time ever.• Already a holder of five British records (1500m outdoors and the 1000m, 1500m, 3000m and 5000m indoors), Muir will look to break the 1000m world record on Saturday 15 February.• The record is 2:30.94 and is held by Maria Mutola having been set in 1999 – Muir’s personal best over the distance indoors stands at 2:31.93..Mondo Duplantis – SWE (Pole Vault).• Still only 20 years of age, Duplantis is the reigning European champion and world silver medallist.• Duplantis holds the world junior (under 20) record with a mark of 6.05m.• The feat saw him break the European Championship record and become just the sixth man in history to clear that mark..Pictured: Mondo Duplantis
